Privacy Policy

Effective July 1, 2026 · Bold Luxury Unlimited Auto LLC

This Privacy Policy describes how Bold Luxury Unlimited Auto LLC (“BLU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you use our platform, services, mobile applications, and websites (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

Identity and verification information: To create a BLU membership, we collect your full legal name, date of birth, government-issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license or passport), and a selfie photograph used for identity verification. This information is required to verify your eligibility to operate vehicles and comply with applicable laws.

Contact information: We collect your email address and mobile phone number. Your phone number is used for SMS-based communications, two-factor authentication, and concierge coordination.

Payment information: We collect payment card information processed through Stripe, PayPal account identifiers for PayPal-based payments, and wallet addresses for USDC cryptocurrency settlements processed through Coinbase Business. We do not store complete card numbers — payment data is held by our payment processors.

Vehicle and location data: During active bookings, BLU may collect vehicle telematics data including GPS location, speed, and trip routing for safety, fleet management, and insurance purposes. Location collection is limited to active booking periods.

Device and usage information: We collect browser type, IP address, device identifiers, operating system, pages visited, and interaction data to operate and improve our Services.

Communications: If you contact us via SMS, email, or through the platform, we retain those communications for support and legal compliance purposes.

Sweepstakes entries: When you enter BLU promotional sweepstakes, we collect the information required by applicable state law, which may include name, address, phone number, and age verification.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Verify your identity and membership eligibility
  • Process bookings, payments, and service requests
  • Coordinate chauffeur, roadside, and concierge services via our team
  • Send transactional SMS messages about your bookings and account
  • Send marketing SMS messages if you have provided explicit consent
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Comply with legal obligations including insurance, DMV, and tax requirements
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Analyze and improve our platform and services
  • Administer promotional sweepstakes in compliance with applicable law

3. SMS Communications and TCPA

By providing your mobile phone number and creating a BLU account, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages at that number, including booking confirmations, concierge updates, and account security messages. These are required for platform operation and cannot be opted out without deactivating your account.

If you separately consent to marketing communications, BLU may send promotional SMS messages about fleet updates, exclusive offers, and membership benefits. You may opt out of marketing SMS at any time by replying STOP to any marketing message. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Our SMS number is +1 (650) 459-7997. For support, text HELP to that number or email privacy@boldluxuryunlimited.com.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers: We share information with third-party vendors that help us operate our Services, including:

  • Stripe and PayPal — payment processing
  • Coinbase Business — USDC cryptocurrency settlement
  • Telnyx — SMS delivery and phone verification
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection, and media storage
  • Neon and Vercel — database and application hosting
  • Identity verification providers — government ID verification

These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to BLU.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to comply with a valid legal process. We may also disclose information to protect the safety of our users, employees, or the public.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

Insurance and claims: In the event of an accident or incident, we may share relevant booking and telematics information with insurance carriers and legal representatives as necessary.

5. Cryptocurrency Payment Data

BLU offers USDC settlement through Coinbase Business as an alternative payment method for qualifying concierge transactions. When you use this feature, your USDC wallet address and transaction identifiers are processed and stored by Coinbase Business pursuant to their privacy policy.

Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on public blockchains. While BLU does not publish wallet associations, the nature of public blockchains means transaction data may be visible to third parties. BLU retains settlement confirmations for tax and compliance purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. After account termination, we retain certain information for up to seven (7) years to comply with legal obligations, tax requirements, insurance regulations, and to resolve disputes.

Telematics and location data collected during bookings is retained for ninety (90) days, after which it is aggregated and anonymized or deleted, except where retention is required for ongoing insurance claims or legal proceedings.

SMS communication logs are retained for thirty (30) days for operational purposes and up to three (3) years where required by law.

7. Data Security

BLU uses industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data, and regular security audits. Our platform operates under a zero-trust architecture with continuous anomaly monitoring.

Despite these measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication on your BLU account.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for which it is used, and with whom it is shared.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (such as information needed to complete pending transactions or comply with legal obligations).
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: BLU does not sell personal information. No opt-out is required.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@boldluxuryunlimited.com.
